'Northabout' returns to the arctic for an attempt to circumnavigate the pole in one season

Northabout, a yacht built for high latitude sailing, which in the hands of Jarlath Cunnane has already successfully transited both the NW and NE passages is heading back to the arctic for an expedition led by David Hempleman-Adams.
The aim this time is to complete a circumnavigation of the arctic in a single season. The information and experience gathered on Jarlath Cunnane's previous voyages made a major contribution to the Pilotage Foundation book 'Arctic and Northern Waters'
The Pilotage Foundation wishes the expedition success and hopes that the choice of an already proven boat will contribute to a successful voyage and the collection of more pilotage information.
The Polar Ocean Challenge website provides much information about the expedition and allows one to follow their progress.
