Placencia Belize - Town Anchorage Passage

The Pilot Book by Captain Freya Roucher lists a passage between the Placencia Point and Placencia Cay (16 30.832N, 088 21.770W), a small island immediately offshore from the town and adjacent to the main Placencia anchorage. The passage between the island and town is possible in a speedboat, but is not recommended for yachts, although the pilot book still suggests that this is possible.
