La Gironde river - Southern entrance

It is reported that the Passe du Sud/de Grave is effectively closed. Apart from the landfall buoy (45deg 30.4min N 001deg 15.5min W) all the others have been removed. Storms have shifted the banks so the entrance is no longer viable even in totally benign conditions.
