For those not wanting to go alongside the Poets Cove resort marina in Bedwell harbour, there is a popular anchorage in the crescent shaped bay which lies just to the south east of Bedwell Harbour Day Beacon. Anchor in around 10m of water with very good holding in thick mud. Depths are suitable for anchoring just about everywhere in Pender harbour but most boats seem to congregate in the crescent shaped bay.
