Parks Bay

One of the wildest and most scenic anchorages in the inner San Juan Islands. The head of the bay is reported as being foul but anchorage is possible just about anywhere else in the southern half of the bay with excellent holding in thick mud in 10-15 m of water and lots of swinging room.

If you find the marina in Friday Harbour is full then Parks Bay, which lies only a 1.5 miles to the NE of Friday harbour, is an infinetly better anchorage than trying to anchor in Friday Harbour itself.
