p66 San Sebastian

When we were there we preferred the mooring buoys in the bay allowing swimming off the boat etc. We also experienced an interesting weather event....... One evening at around 6.00 following a particularly hot day with moderate E winds no more than 10kn the wind quite suddenly swung to NW and blew has 25-30kn for a couple of hours following which they moderated and were followed by a brief thunderstorm. Local boatman told me that this happened once or twice on this coast as a result of the heat.
