Varadoiro de Xufre, Isla de Arosa, Galicia

This is an excellent boatyard, very popular with Irish and British boats. We have wintered there and had them do work including topside painting, restoration of coachroof and cockpit gelcoat, and replacement of standing rigging. Excellent workmanship and very reasonably priced. A father and son business with a small team of craftsmen, they can be depended on to deliver what they promise. They have a 180 tonne travelhoist and a shed with 25m headroom. Customers have the use of a communal courtesy car for local use. Fluent English spoken. Described in the 2018 edition of the Atlantic Spain and Portugal pilot.
