This volume describes the coasts of the Balearic archipelago, consisting of the islands of Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca, Cabrera, and Menorca, each with its own unique characteristics. The author has been covering this specific cruising area for about ten years, knowing it well year-round. For this edition, he spent much of the summer cruising, conducting meticulous research and reconnaissance. The text has been updated primarily in its descriptions of the numerous ports and marinas, along with their generally excellent services available to yachtsmen. Another significant asset of this archipelago is its numerous anchorages, many now managed by buoy moorings to protect the marine heritage.
