Don't miss dinner at Hideaway Cay!

Pelican Cay has excellent holding and is one of only a few safe harbours in the Placencia region if the wind turns and blows hard from the North West, which is common, early in the Caribbean winter season. As well as good holding, there are three moorings in good condition provided by Dustin and Kim, who operate a friendly bar and restaurant for passing sailors. Call Hideaway Cay when you arrive in the anchorage on channel 74 and Kim will give you choices for dinner. The food is simple, but fresh and very tasty. Dustin is an outstanding host, makes a mean rum punch and is a mine of information about the region.
