Heraklion

Beware foul ground.
We berthed on the town quay, 20m W of the steel ladder up the high quay. We then hauled well off, and dinghied to the ladder, to sleep ashore. On weighing, our anchor was foul of something invisible in the murky water, freed by our trip line.
The few yachts mooring a touch further W had no fouling problems that we saw.
